i started a new job a couple weeks ago and talking to my boss found out about this rev x oil treatment. his brother is one of the people that started the product . we use it in the shop in all are buses and i have seen the oil samples well i don't know much about reading them but we have doubled the life of the oil. i know it is a new product and was wondering in any one here knows anything about it. to me the product sounds to good to be true. if any one here could give me any info on if they have used it or not that would be great. here is a link to it **link removed** . OK allow a few observations. Do all snake oil people always qualify themselves by relationships....in other words it always seems to be "my boss" "my father" "Stony the Mechanic who is a friend"....and that is their disclaimer so they do not have to answer any questions directed at them...This stupid shit tells us he has seen the oil samples ....but then goes on to say I don't know what they mean but then tells us we have doubled the life of the oil How the fuck do you know you doubled the life of the oil? You just said you are clueless what the UOA tells you. And of course he goes onto great lengths to say he is not selling he is just asking questions after sharing this bullshit testimonial and the product link to their bullshit website....it get's better....

We have been using REV-X in michigan for quite a few years and it have proven time and time again to reduce friction way more than just using synthetic oil. I use it with Amsoil in my bikes and have seen over a 4 horsepower gain after adding it to my engine and tranny on the dyno. I still have the original 350 in my 87 IROC and after running REV-X oil additive the engine not only became smoother it also has way better throttle response. I did seem to pick up better mileage as well.

Also please tell me why the products you listed are owned by two companies and one happens to be Speedway Inc (NASCAR). I test oils for a living and I can tell you for a fact what is in every formulation of whatever and you really aught to find out for yourself (or, maybe you already have!) just what you have been selling for the last few years - NO, not the oil and air filters that you guys get from China, Your oil products. Amsoil has always been very upfront unlike Mobil1 and others so Amsoil is the last company this dipshit needs to imply any type of misrepresentation in that area. This guy is way too easy. Wow I have my degree (two actually and I can spell and utilize complete sentences and everything)) and have been involved in tribology for over 25 years for the likes of Bell Helicopter etc. and I assure you of a few things. You are not educated at all. You do not test oil for a living as there is no such thing. Amsoil does not get their filters from China they get them from Donaldson. We all know what is in Amsoil as we here at ls1.com study VOA's of various oils and also have utilized accepted ASO9002/API certified tools/methodologies for our "enlightenment" of what makes a lubricant work or not work. These guys....WTF is that? These guys have done their homework? Oh well fuck me in the ass...I have been enlightened by the almighty "These Guys". Look at all the time and money I could have saved over the years on an education/significant lab/real world tear down and analysis/experience etc.. Shit all I had to do was listen to "These Guys".
