changing front speakers in Monsoon question

I've read the sticky and plan on getting to it today. I'm not sure I will find infinity 62.7 speakers in the toronto area unless I'm just calling the wrong stores. Will any dual input speaker work in that size?

I think many dual input speakers will work...just check for right resistance (2 ohm). I'm thinking of getting some regular 2-ohm 2-ways (not necessarily dual input) and hard-wiring the high frequency speaker wire directly into the tweeter. Should be easy when the tweeter wire is exposed, like on these:

It's just hard finding 2-ohm speakers.

dam i ended up buying stock replacements a guy near me had 62.5s but i wasnt sure if they would work. I paid a little extra for the stock replacements but ill be happy if they work good. a day after i bought them i missed a full set of front/rears for half what i paid

I'll just be happy that I dont have the balance 3/4 to the left and the bass off just so the front right doesnt pop
