Where do you park

I was talking to my gf and she thinks it's funny but understandable that I park where I park. I was wondering about everyone else. You can choose more than one answer.

either far away or where I can see my car, and I always park strait in the line not crooked so no one can park next to me, thats just asking for trouble

I try to park where I can see the car and away from other cars. People have no respect for others property nowadays and I am tired of random door dings on my vehicles because of someone else's lack of attention to detail.

i always park out in the middle of towards the back or side of the store..i also pull in at a diagonal and take up two spaces so that no one can really get that close to either side of my car...

Taking 2 spots is always asking for the errant shopping cart to come over and check out the paint and body density of your car. Everyone hates ppl that do this, it's like "Why is this person so special??, I'll teach him/her.."

when ever i see someone doing that i think "who does this d-bag think they are" of course I dont do anything, but there certainly are people out there that will take it a step further.

True story: In March I had to attend a meeting in a city about two hours away... I pull into the mostly full parking lot and am a bit early so I decide to wait in my truck.

As I am sitting in my truck reviewing documents, the people parked to my right come out to their vehicle. THUD -- they smack their driver door into the side of my truck. Not five minutes later the people parked to my left came out to their vehicle. THUD -- they smack the passenger door into the side of my truck.

Neither of them said sorry, or acted the least bit worried about what they did, even though I am in my truck in plain sight. The urge to jump out and go ape was fortunately overcome by the realization that I am in a not-to-good section of a strange city and that my reaction, although justified, would have probably gotten me shot.

People in general just piss me off!!!

works both ways.....My doors would have made bigger Thuds if it was in my truck...

My truck is for work, to beat up, and dog out....

This is why I don't give a fuck anymore where I park.

I used to park in the north 40 way away from civilization. I don't mind the walk (even here when it's 120 out). I'd always come back to see some beat up cowboy truck parked on 1 side and some Yugo on the other side.

Fuck it! Can't win so I gave up trying....
