Dutch LT1 (updated pictures)
Hi there,
I'm Rene, 35 year old male from The Netherlands. My daily drive is a Red 1997 Trans Am with the LT-1 engine. For sunny sundays I also have a white with blue interior 1969 Corvette Coupe with a non-stock beefed up V8and 4-speed manual. I'll be doing a lot of reading and picture viewing on this forum. I know what I like but my brain
is not set up for the technical part of cars, so I'll leave the posting up to those who know what they are talking about....
Pictures!!
Cheers,
ReneLast edited by dutch-lt1; 04-12-2009 at 03:22 AM.

LOL! Thanks. Your Dutch is very good, guess you've had some lessons... That Cobra is very cool, you'll be one of the very few on the Dutch roads. Just a heads up; The Netherlands is very very crowded and speedtraps are everywhere! But Germany is not far: NO speedlimits on the highways!!
You should really come a week early, the 19th is American Sunday on our national circuit Zandvoort... Maybe next year... FYI: The Dutch forum for f-bodies is located at www.f-body.nl...
Maybe I'll see you around...

I stand corrected... Indeed, most of the time. The Germans (some Germans, who have the right cars) hit the pedal until the speedlimiter kicks in (250km/h for BMW/Mercedes/Audi), but when a sign indicating a speedlimit comes up, they are not shy to test their ABS as well...
In the Netherlands it is so crowded, we are happy if we ever reach the maximum speed of 120km/h...

Hmm... Not that I know off, could be... Looks like it in this picture... I'll look in to it when she comes out of my brother-in-laws garage, don't have her home right now...
Here are some pictures I took today of my TA parked in front of an old windmill, thought you guys might like it...
