Not a good day for me

I pretty much caused it as I broke up with my girlfriend of roughly 2 years or so. Kinda one of those things where you know you're comfortable in a relationship, but you know she's NOT the one. Sure, I could have held out for the rest of my life being comfortable, but dammit..i want the deep down connection. Wasn't here this time..so..

Wish I knew how to post pics, I am computer challenged, but maybe I can pick you up with this story of how I met the best person in my life. I was in the army celebrating my 19th BD, kissing every girl who would submit, when she obligated me.

A few days later she showed up at base, secure area, and being kids we were goofing around with water guns. At any rate she squirted one of those large light bulbs enclosed in a metal grate. Well when she hit the bulb with water it busted. At this exact same time the power went out. I, being the ass I am, told her that I would have to report this to the base commander as she had knocked out the power to the base with her water gun. She didn't believe me and left in a huff. I faked phone call, radio call the hole nine yards. Well she was only gone a short time and I didn't think a think much
about it, but she returned all excited and crying. It seems at the same time she squirted water on that light bulb some contractors had hit a main power line on post and knocked out most of the post area (where we were located).

She actually thought she had knocked out the power to an entire military installation with a water gun. I knew at that time this was the one for me. We dated for 5 years after that and I married her in 1979.

I have always been lucky, but the best luck I ever had in my life or in ten lives was her.

Never give up the hope...

Don't get me wrong that little 5' blonde girl turned out to be a whole lot smarter than I could ever be...
