    Error Code P0125

I went to the post office today, and as i got a mile or two down the rode i got a check engine light

I ran it, P0125, insufficient coolant temperature for closed loop fuel control.

    What does that mean?

Usually means your thermostat is bad, opening too soon. Replace it, make sure the coolant is full, clear the code and you should be golden. On the 3.8 it is easy to get to, right on top front, correct? Under the top radiator hose.

How's your coolant level? If it is too low it can cause both the overheating issue and the P0125. If your coolant is low, where did it go?

First thing I would check is the water pump. Look on the bottom side of it, there is a weep hole, that's usually where the leak shows. The bottom part of it, just behind the pulley. Might need a small mirror to help see it.
