the best is to tell him to come pay you buy cash in person or a money order. That way you are safe guarded.

Send him the keys
he sends a cashier's check.....check clears then
you send the title
he ships the bike.

Have him send a cashiers checks and do not ship until the check clears. No way I'd use paypal, really easy for a buyer to file a claim and screw you out of the money and the bike. I've sold cars all over the states, some I never met the buyer and they just saw pics... never had an issue.

don't send him the title until the funds are in your bank. You're not paranoid....you're smart. Never give anyone shit without having the money. It's a shame that's where we are as a people but better safe than sorry.

paypal is awesome, but at the same time, they will rape you silly in fees. tell him to send a check, once it clears, send that shit over.

I've noticed many scams on Craigslist, better to be safe then sorry. I'd feel best handling it with a cashiers check and waiting for it to clear...

Cashiers checks can be fake.....your bank cashes a fake one & you are responsible for paying them back

Thats why you make damn sure it clears before spending the money...

You should have him send you a money order....to be more specific, make sure to have him send you a USPS money order; that way, you have the federal government involved should anything (heaven forbid) go wrong....
