440 RWHP / 410 TQ- 2000 SLP CAMARO SS
I bought one off ebay for my GF's Cobalt! It didnt last two years. It was maintained well with wax and always cleaned with the rest of the car. It chipped, spider cracked, and faded. I would not buy another pre-painted spoiler off ebay again.

Well, I would just buy one that hasn't been painted and have a friend of mine paint it because he does very good work, but I'm still thinking about it.

Yeah I think thats the best way to go. Plus i know a guy who could paint it really cheap who does high end paint jobs.
BADASS2000SS:
It was mainly the paint that went bad on you right?
On ebay i saw a couple different companies selling spoilers and not all were fiberglass.

Arctic White- 01 TA / 06 Duc 749D
I picked one up off ebay back in august, all fiberglass and came primered and ready for paint. Fit right, looks good, and it was fairly cheap.

Yup Yup, only the paint spidered, cracked and faded. The spoiler itself...no problems!

Well if you want an opinion from a different angle I'll be the guy.
I bought an aftermarket one for my SS because I wanted to remove the original and stick it away.
I bought the primered one as many mentioned above. It does fit but there were issues that a picky person like me will point out.
First off the corners are more rounded than the factory spoiler so the trunk lid gaps will look a little funny around the top. It's just not as sharp and gives a not so factory appearance. Just doesn't fit to the quarters as tight as the original.
My other issue is the fact that they don't bolt down like the factory ones do with a nice stud /nut/washer combo,,,,,,,they simply use a phillips head screw that you have to screw up through the decklid and into the spoiler.
My only other complaint would be the fact that these are not 2 piece spoilers like the factory SS spoilers are, and the lip that forms the distinctive dove tail is also not very sharp and somewhat rounded as well.
If you can live with these little descrepancies it'll work fine for you.
This is coming from a picky guy, most don't seem to care about the little details so take it for what it's worth
