Shit I fuckin deleted them but I took several pics of the same thing. Had an 07 tahoe come into the shop with a matress wrapped around his driveshaft too that fell off of the truck in front of him. The worst part of it was he was pulling a 4000 lbs. boat behind him. Locked up the tires running 70 down the interstate luckely it got stopped without hitting anyone.

Believe it or not, it happens alot. We see quite a few trucks(Freightliners) at our shop that run over them. Sure does tear up alot of stuff. We had 3 in 1 week.
I guess the worst I had was a tie (ratchet) strap was in the bed of my truck and the strap I guess started floating in the bed going down the road. It worked its way between the bed and cab, wrapped around the driveshaft and the hook on the end started taking crap out. Like my fuel tank. thats the worst I had.

this stuff wouldnt happen if people secured the mattress they are carrying properly, or ponied up the 50 bucks to have it delivered or whatever it costs. I'd put money on it that almost every one of these mishaps happened cause of some jerkoff that thought 2 wraps of twine around his honda accord was enough. Yeah could the drivers that run this shit over be idiots? Yeah in some cases, but you cant always avoid everything you run over if you are on a busy highway.

I remember one time many many moons ago my brother and I went and picked up a 20' cb antenna mast in my 75 cutlass. We drove through busy traffic drunk holding it along side the car.
It was like we were playing joust with the other cars on the road.
