Slicks and Wheels
I and looking at getting slicks and wheels does anyone have any ideas? How wide can I go without rubbing? I know 15 inch rims on the back require caliper grinding. but how wide should the rim be for slicks, not a drag radial? Also what offset or backspace? ( im not too sure on those so if someone would fill me in?) Also how big should the tire be? Any suggestions let me know. Yes i do have the stock rear end and do not have adj. LCA. I and not worried about breaking the rearend beacase that will just give me and excuse to tell the wife for getting a new moser 9". Thanks guys in advance.

It all depends on what slick, gearing, and how tall of a tire you plan on running. What do you trap? What is your redline? Power?
A lot goes into selecting the right tire.
Me?? I run a little too tall of a tire for my gears. I have 27x11.5x15 Hoosier QTP's on 15x10 Weld ProStars.2008 Trailblazer SS
