Underrated!??!

No way! The Scorpions kicks ass and always will in my book. Everyone knows "Rock you Like a Hurricane" sure but their other songs were just as good.

Rock You Like a Hurricane is my favorite and one of the few song in my "Racing" Playlist in my IPod.

a friend of mine gave lead singer klaus meine voice lessons when he had problems in the late 80s. she's an opera singer who lived in the same town, 90 minute drive from here.
personally, they never where my thing, but a good band for sure.

I wasn't even thinking about that when I made the thread. Just habit I guess.

I was more in the cassette tape era but had and still have a few vinyl's.

When you hear of greatest bands of all time the scorps never get the proper respect I don't think. They have a ton of rocking songs.

Ha! I've got both 78's and 45's. When I was in elementary and Jr high school... all my allowance went to the local music store and I came home with at least 2 new 45 every week

I've still got all my albums. And, all my upgrade to tapes (mostly for my car) and now my CD's...

I don't even have a turntable anymore but just can't bring myself to sell or get rid of all my albums

And, you're right about the Scorpions. Somehow, they got lost in the shuffle and it's a crying shame!

I've still got the 1st album I ever bought: The Doors. Purchased way back in 67. The 2nd one was Big Brother and the Holding Company (Janis Joplin's 1st band). Except for a few that got "melted" (thank you base board heaters in Colorado) I have all the albums I've ever bought. The 78's I can't play (turntable only goes 33 & 45) but I have collected down thru the years, mostly old jazz and CW stuff from the 30's and 40's.
