Seat replacements

Does anybody know what other seats will fit into a 02 camaro ss that are much better than stock. I heard that the corvette seats may, what about the 04 and up grand prix seats?

I've got the cloth buckets, and on the left kidney pad on the drivers side, its almost worn down to the foam, any good ideas? the worn spot is about an inch across

You can always go to a yard and find a low mile car. I have actually about 10 upper and lower foams from LOW mile cars that I yanked. GM wants an arm and a leg for the seat foams!

As for the cover, I would go leather cause there is not much available as far as cloth replacements.

do the gto seats just bolt up, and what about hooking up for power, how hard is it. Gto seats would probably be the best, but the gto lettering is a little odd in a camaro.

The seat foams and covers are easy to install. You might be able to find a place that will do it for you but they are not going to be able to change it much unless you want to spend a ton of money in which case you might as well buy Vette, GTO, or Firebird seats.

I have heard no on the GTO Seats, I am running Trans Am Seats - WS6 and they have the adjustable bolsters and lumbar, very cool seats and they are amazing in comfort. I would get a set, they are always on ebay.

Classic Soft Trim did my seats and door panels for 1100.00 and they look great. Dark Gray with red double stitching and the SS logo on the head rest.

My 2001 SS Camaro's seats were completely worn out at 70,000 miles, I can only assume the original owner was a big guy or something. It literally felt like a rock when I sat in it. I considered a seat replacement too.
Then I sold the car for what you see in the Avatar, so I was naturally looking forward to nice brand new seats, among the other things that go along with owning a new Z06.
I was a bit disappointed with the seats, so if you are going to replace them, go and sit in a Corvette first, and make sure you get ones with lumbar support, mine does not even have that!
The rest of the car more than makes up for it though....
