BS no way an LS1 with just a catback went 12.2. Something must have been up with the timing device too 122mph is way too fast for 12.2 and the car next to you went 106 running a 14.06? If you can trap at 122mph you should be able to run a 10.XX.

Fastest F-Body known to man right there. But speed doesn't match time, should be alot faster then 12.2

Looks like a typical nitrous pass to me with a shitty 60 foot time.
Edit: I just watched the video,,,didn't even show the MPH.Last edited by Firebirdjones; 11-20-2008 at 05:45 PM.

While Englishtown is known for being a "fast" track (good DA, decent prep depending on when you go), I don't think we should expect a 12.2 @ 122 from a catback and Ram Air kit on a 2000 Firebird.
The mph does look much more like a nitrous pass on street tires. Interesting that you cut a VERY strong 12.7 @ 109 (according to your other thread below) and then you managed to pick up 5/10ths and 13 mph a couple days later. Nitrous makes perfect sense here. Just my $.02.Last edited by Midnight02; 11-21-2008 at 05:14 AM.

Umm no. No catback ls1 can possibly trap at 122 without more mods or atleast nitrous. your username even points at nitrous.. The ramair package would gain approx .1 and 1mph in the qtr. i could see 12.2 at 112 not 12.2 at 122. Do you have any idea how much power it takes to trap at 122? A catback only ls1 will never see that day.
Not to take all the credit away from you, maybe the track timer malfunctioned. I find it kind of fishy that the other car's speed came with the time but yours did not...
Good luck with this one pal.

If no nitrous then probably just a timing error then. Man I've had that happen,,,,pass felt good and all only to get to the end and have the track official say, "sorry man, no slip, it didn't record" So I got nothing at all.

No way. I went 12.2 @ 112mph and a 1.79 60ft. I have a decent size cam and head work done . I was also hitting the limiter or I would have been faster and I got a time slip.
