Coolant temp sensor
This is going to sound stupid, but where is the coolant temp sensor located on an 02 LS1?
I have a BMW M3 that is getting an LS1 transplant and I have to swap the sensor with a BMW one (which surprising fits without modification) but I don't know where it is lol
Help?

Just below the radiator cap under the overflow tube if it's the same as 98's

I'm sorry I'm retarded. I'm talking about the coolant level sensor. bills98ta is correct the coolant temp sensor is by the #1 cylinder.
