Car value droping dramaticaly
Wtf happened to our cars value. Last time I checked KBB for my cars value it was still work 11-12k private party. Now it says its worth 6,700 WTF. Don't remember the last time I actually checked but I would say it was in the last year and I have't put much more than 10k on it. It is about to hit the 100,000 mile mark but damn the value has almost dropped in half. I guess theres no point in selling it if I do decide to get a vette. I was hoping I could get atleast 9-10k for it if I did sell it. That really sucks cause I just found a low milage frc vette for a good price.

These change from place to place.. maybe not in the book. Probably a total of 12 4th gens here.. one lt1 black ws6, my TA, a pewter ws6 and the rest are v6s. A good v6 here is 8k with over 100k, a ws6 goes for around 17 with over 50k.
pics and prices to prove it

wouldn't it be a little hard though, to see someone selling a WS.6 or an SS for say...$17,000, then you look up exactly what they're selling on NADA or KBB, and tell them its only worth "X" amount of dollars, and that's all you'll give them? Just curious, because i want to buy a WS.6 next year, and i know i'll hear someone either laugh or tell me to GTFO when i say that. I'm looking to get one with less that 50k miles, and i've seen them in good condition all over auto trader for well over $15,000. I personally dont think they're worth that much. Now, something with say....less than 10k miles, higher price is a little more reasonable.

Just check the value again during spring...it'll go up or at least demand will. No one wants a hotrod during the winter.

2002 Z28 A4 NBM- Sadly now demodded :(
If you are expecting your 4th gen Camaro to maintain it's value or go up in value then I want some of what you're smoking.
BTW, I find it hard to believe that, even in mullet country, a Camaro would be higher priced than the going rate. FYI, my 02 Z28's value is just over $13K and that's in excellent condition with only 43,xxx miles on it. I know this as I recently was involved in an accident and that's what the value of the car was.
