Do I need lower airbox?

I am about to put a WS6 hood on the car, do I really need to get the lower airbox to make it functional? What if I did the free ram air mod instead, is that just as good?

yea i think doing the free ram air mod would do the samething or even a little better but if you have the hood i would get the lower box as well if you dont do the free ram air mod, it will make the hood functional.
