Are Vogtland Springs any good
Are they any good, they say its 30% lighter and a 1.2 drop. The ebayer has good feedback and is mainly selling these springs. Has anyone had any experience with Vogtland springs if so please let me know.

Springs...
I have never heard of Vogtland Springs. Both of my T/A's have Eibach Racing Springs which lower the car 1.75 in the rear and 1.50 in the front. Are Vogtland Springs that much cheaper than Eibach??

They are cheaper but i can pick up used eibach springs as well not much of an issue there. What kinda caught my eye was there 30% lighter and ive seen them on ebay for years even the time i had my first camaro. Kinda wanted to get some input on these and see how well they work not sure if im gonna consider buying them. I know the strano springs are lighter as well and they have a good rep. The Vogtlands are also made from VVS alloy which im not sure what that means, is it a bit stiffer and lighter because of the material they use ?

Vogtland does make my springs *for me*, and I have them use the VVS alloy in mine. That's where the similarities end. Period. If I felt the production springs were "right" I'd use them (and I do for the Mustangs), but I think they missed the mark a bit with the F-body and my springs are consequently different in every way except the alloy used....
Cheap is a dangerous word with parts. Buying on price is often a huge mistake. And fwiw, I thought you were "happy" with your suspension as per another thread? I'm not saying you can't improve it, and am glad you are thinking of it, but you need to know what you are trying to accomplish in real terms, not just "better" before you start buying random parts, and you better understand that changing one parts has other effects.
It's not ideal to change only springs. You'd want better shocks to control them and an adjustable Panhard bar to center the axle properly. Things that many don't know or think about when they "just want springs".Sam Strano

What did you think was a rumor? That my springs were different than the production Vogtlands (they are, quite), or that they were the same (which is not true)?

My life is a- Ben Stiller movie.
I didn't know yours were actually made by them to your specs. I thought you had modified theirs and produce them elsewhere or inhouse.

Oh yeah, they are all mine. BMR tried to claim I was rebadging them, etc. It's not true. All anyone has to do is compare the rates (and just look at them) side by side.

Wanted folks to get a good look so they can know when they compare other springs the claims some make theirs are the same, aren't true.

I'm going to be ordering my Stranos real soon. Been doing a lot of homework on it and reading reviews.
All reviews I've read (about 100) all say that Stranos are the best that money can buy.

Strano springs not only out perform Eibach but IMO- has the best ride hight
there's prob. a reason why the Eibach's are being sold used on ebay!!
why let $50.00 (if that) stop you from geting the best F-body spring made!
