At what mileage is it a good time to change a stock timing chain on a GTP? Mine is nearing 115k and I've heard people throw arond the number 75k...

I don't need to send my valves into orbit
Thing is this...if I'm going to be pulling appart the front of the motor for a timing chain, I'll put a new cam, lifters, pushrods, valve springs, water pump, and oil pump on as well. Nymph needs to be running first, so if I'm not done this little project in a weekend, I'll be able to go to work on Monday.

The list I had set out to do before the motor came is now done...weld in roll cage, POR-15 the floor and roll cage, new carpet, new seats, 5-point harnesses, 200mph gauges, 335s on the rear, Tick Master Cylinder, 3-point SFCs (upgraded from 2-pointers), assemble tubular k-member with manual steering rack and a-arms.
Just waiting on the motor now

Not sure...Texas-Speed said by the end of May, now they're saying end of June. I have two weeks of leave from work I need to use before July 21st or I loose it. You better believe that as soon as I get that motor I'm installing it asap so I can start breaking it in.
With the new motor comes a built t56, stage 4 clutch, carbon fiber driveshaft, shattershield, tubular k-member, manual steering, tubular a-arms, C5 brake upgrade, electric water pump, and coil relocation...I'm not antsy at all
