Wtf?! GRRR
I have replaced more shit on this car, I swear. Today I drove to work with heater on VENTS. It was blowing, I felt it. Switched it to defroster because of the rain. Now I can get it to blow defroster and floor but not vents. Tried AC also, it won't go to vents either. Tell me I don't have to tear the entire dash out!

prob not, look under the hood on the passenger's side
you should see this plastic looking thing with vacuum lines going to it, this plastic thing is like a cylinder 3/4 in diameter maybe an inch or so tall
this same problem happened to me because one of the nipples / vacuum line was leaking on this little cylinder thingy
if thats not the problem, keep searching for a vacuum leak

Also pull the under panel where your BCM is located under the glove box. There will be a round vacuum block with multi colored hoses. Check for cracked or disconected hoses there aswell.

I think what he said, when I first swapped to my ls-6 manifold I remember the instruction said to block off a line "didn't have to" and this skinny little line that hooked to the back of the intake I had plugged and then the air no longer worked it's a bitch to get to but it may be it.
it hooked in from the passenger side.Last edited by c5z28; 08-28-2009 at 02:00 PM.
