whats the difference in koni sing adj and double?
What exactly are u adjusting with the shocks? Is it ride height? Firmness? Can u set them to a lower setting then when ur at a track stiffen them up for traction? cuz i have no idea what exactly they adjust

Damping and rebound.
The Koni DA's adjust both while the SA's adjust I thiiink rebound only.
now don't quote me, as I tend to forget but I think Damping in english is how does the shock soften the impact of bumps/unevenness while rebound is how fast the shock comes back after compressing after hitting the bumps/uneveness.
I could be wrong but that's what i recall.
Koni DA's are made for road-racers, as they can be broken down and revalved based on what track you're taking the car to.
The SA's are more for street applications, which also means that truly, the SA's tend to be built beefier than the DA's because they're designed for everyday applications.
I got the DA's simply because I got them at a ridiculously low price. My rear DA shocks look like they blew out(they've been known to do this, but not many have.) I bought the SA's for the rear.
My front DA's are still stout, no problems whatsoever.
And yes, making them full soft is still WAY more responsive than the factory POS shocks and even the Bilstein HD's.
I've heard a couple of guys using the Koni SA's full soft at the drags and cutting 1.6 60 ft times, which is pretty quick!
but truly the Koni shocks are GREAT for canyon carving/twisties/autoX/roadracing applications.

This is just my opinion but the DA's are overkill for the street, for one they cost a lot, and two there just not a durable as the SA's(I had problems with several DA's leaking), and three most(not all) people will never make full use of there adjustability, and four their more prone to being damaged from more then a mild (1" 1.25") compared to the SA's.
FYI, even Sam Strano prefers the Koni SA's over the DA's.
