Correct pinion angle tunnel mount torque arm
correct pinion angle is from -1 to -3 at maximum that means the rears pointed down and so is the drive shaft so upon load the drive shaft rolls and your driveline is in a perfect straight line... am i right... lol
maybe i just need the stronger driveshaft i just ordered...
or the adjustment is still wrong..
somebody help lol i need advice

Red Tint Jewelcoat- 2008 Trailblazer SS
How is it grabbing at launch?
Too much normally creates hop.
Too little normally creates spin.

Broken DS's are from weak DS's or REALLY extreme angles.

2002 Z28 A4 NBM- Sadly now demodded :(
Maybe I should knock on wood cuz I haven't broken a DS yet. Plenty of stripped gears and burnt pinions and bearings though.
I'm set at a tad over -2* and the car dead hooks (that's what took the last set of gears even though I'm an A4) after a burnout stalled at 2500 on MT's.
I like the trophy rack...67 Camaro: K-K + 797-z (look it up), 454/Th400/4.10 12-bolt = 6mpg, PS/PDB/PW tilt, tach, gauges...
2005 Corvette LS2/M6 Magnetic Red Metallic (What else would it be?) w/ Cashmere interior
2002 Z28: NBM/Tan, MTI smooth lid, smooth bellows, !AIR, !cats, 1-3/4" QTP SS LT's, 2-1/2" TD's with X-pipe, MagnaFlows dumped at axle, custom welded SFC's, MidWest Chassis body mount adjustable T/A, 3400 stall, 3.23 gears (was 2.73). Tuned: 343rwhp/357rwt (before TD's). Best: 12.559 @ 108+, 1.73 60' @ 3500' DA w/MT ET Street DR's.
Carbon footprint? CLOWN SHOE!

You look like you are still running the stock aluminum drive shafts. So I wouldn't blame their breakage soley on your pinion angle. I've seen those things twisted like prezels on bone stock cars and street tires.
In all honesty if you plan to race the car that much and launch at those rpm levels, you should really step up to a stronger piece. For very little money you won't have this headache, and take a chance also of taking the transmission or your rearend out with it. I've broken tail shaft housings off the tranny from shoving the driveshaft forward when it breaks. Don't fool around with those stock shafts.
And yes your pinion angle sounds in the ballpark. Anywhere from -1 to -4 degrees is acceptable for a street/strip car.
