heads question?
I have already started my cam install and i was woundering what to do with the heads (or should i leave them alone)? my cam specs: Any help will be appriciated.
Valve Setting:
IN./Hyd.
EX./Hyd.
RPM Operating Range:
1800 to 6600
Duration:
Advertised IN./.287 EX./.287
@.050" IN./224 EX./224
Valve Lift:

Make sure you change the valvesprings. Other than that, I would leave the heads alone.

well its to late. they said they were going to do pocket work mill the valves and do a 3 angle valve job and polish the exhaust side something like that he said i would be happy of the way they are going to come out? i dont know do you think its worth the money?

get some comp 916 beehieve springs and hardened pushrods, you wont regret it

i have slp high flow oil pump, slp double roller timing chain, comp cams hi tech hardened pushrods ls7 lifters and rev dual valve springs .650 max lift. I just didnt want to leave the heads alone and then regret not doing something to them does anybody have experience with stock heads being machined? Any suggestions and reply will be appriciated?
