how are these numbers? H/C
i have a 02 SS M6 with SLP LT's, 80mm TB, 36lbhr bosch injectors. LS6 heads, 230/230 .600 lift cam, BMR torque arm, tranny crossmember, LCA's,panhard rod. with a tune it put out 397.5RWHP and 385RWTQ. i ran a 12.7 @115 in the 1/4 on street tires. does this sound like low numbers? i have heard of some people with over 400rwhp with just a cam. thanks for the input

Sounds a little low.
Although trapping 115 sounds like it makes more than 397RWHP if it is full weight.

Corrected for weather conditions to a standard number. That way numbers from across the country look the same regardless of altitude, heat, etc...
Do you know what kind of dyno it was?
Do the numbers matter to you if it runs strong? Wondering...because my dyno numbers don't matter much to me. Tuning tool...that is it.

115 trap sounds about right for your 400rwhp & added weight. Insofar as your numbers, they seem a little low. Are you running cats? Factory rear and gears? Are the springs up to that cam lift?

I might have expected another 10-15 hp but really that isnt too bad. As far as guys having over 400hp with just cam.,.....they are probably running a much larger cam, TSP MS4 or something similar. Port those LS6 heads and I would think it would be safe to expect to have around 430hp. Also your 1/4 mi. times sound like you are having traction issues, try some drag radials and practice.

yes i do have cats, and i am getting some drag tires soon. i have 3.73 with a zexel high torque diff in the factory rear. when i did the cam i replaced the factory spring with the patriot gold series springs. i have thought about taking the cats off, but what kind of power gain could i expect? is it worth it? thanks for all the input.
