Sara's casting didn't work...
Sara has an appointment yesterday with the hip doctor.
The X-rays show that her left hip still pops in and out.
Apparently the bone is deformed a little bit at the point it goes into the hip. It is supposed to be a half-moon type shape, and hers is a little flat over how it is supposed to fit.
It will require a surgery sometime next summer. They will go in, and make the bone rounded so it will stay in the hip socket.
As I understand it, they will crack the bone, they use a bone graft to make it the right shape.
Then....5-6 weeks in another cast.
Everything else seems to be in a holding pattern right now though. Been pretty good lately. No infections, no hospital time.
She has really gotten this crawling thing down. We have to gate her off in the house now.
Her words are REALLY starting to flow as well.
Tons of fun now. Always into something and always a mess.

Thanks for your support everyone.
She will be fine. This is something we aren't nearly as concerned about as some other things.

haha, I remember when my sisters were that age. We have a picture of my middle sister like the top one only with spaghetti. I hope everything goes well with her man.

Well, at least it isnt something more "severe" if you can call it that this time. That TOTALLY sucks she has to be in a cast for 5-6 weeks dude! Hopefully everything after this will start to turn around even more-so. Sounds like most of it already is.
Best of luck to your little girl, she can have my luck... it aint much, but she can have it.
