May be a long shot...
I had my whole motor bulit two years ago at a local place, I wont get into the name because they have a bad rep and have closed. But now my #7 lifter is ticking and it only has about 2k on the motor. I dont know any specs about the engine because the place had horrible service and communication and I was in a hurry to get it back. How would I determine which lifter would work for my engine, or would I have to pull another to compare? And can anyone recommend a specific brand? I have a 408C.I stroker motor with 6.0 heads and unfortunately thats about all I know.
thanks

Right now you don't know what's in there. You will have to pull the intake manifold and look. Then you will need some help visually identifying the lifter. Try listening to the engine running closely to make sure that's where the noise is coming from, might save some aggravation.

Is there any brand that is recommended or is there anything special I need to do because its not a stock motor? As I said, I dont know the exact specs of the motor, but Im not sure how much that matters? Im just trying to get this thing fixed since its been nothing but a 8k mess. Any help is greatly appreciated.
