cutout!
ok sooo my buddy has a 01 m6 ws6 with a lid and edlebrock muffler, not catback,...he got longtubes, y pipe with high flow cats, e-cutout, port and polish tb, and a mild cam setup for a procharger, he got a dynotune as well with it...he put down i believe like 354rwhp on the sec pull...with the cutout closed....on the third pull with it opened he made 369.4rwhp....thats a pretty decent gain....SOOOOO...i was thinking i have pacesetter lt's to my 3' y pipe (no cat) to the borla...its loud, real loud, now for the money of getting the cutout how much hp do u think i'll gain???....is it worth it or should i just stick with what i got...also i hate the fact that the rumble comes from under the car with a cutout and not behind it...i dont want people thinking i just cut my exhaust off cuz of how loud its gonna be,lol
01 m6 z28 - lid / lt headers / 3' ory w no cats / flowmaster catback w 3' dmh e-cutout / nelson pcm tune

Shit yeah it will be loud. After me header install, I ran open headers for a few days and I had a headache everytime I got done driving that car. But it is the best sound in the world.

yes it'll be ridicuously loud, but i think they sound alright. and on another note a friend of mine got ele cutouts and had about a 25 hp gain...... a little weird i know but the dyno didnt lie(did have headers before he did the cut outs, i dont know if that will effect it)....

I didn't get electric ones myself.
They clog and stop sealing completely. Not worth the pain in the ass.
Of course, I will only have mine open when I race it.
