Suspension install questions
I have a few suspension pieces that I am hoping to get installed soon, as I have had them sitting in my house for a while teasing me. But I was wondering which ones require you to load the suspension during the install. This is what I have:
3 point SFC - I know I need to load the suspension for this
LCA relocation kit
Shocks/struts/Springs
LCAs
Double Adjustable PHB
PHB Relocation kit
When I do this I was also thinking of doing a write up as I haven't seen any on here for this stuff.

Put it up on the jack stands and use your jack to lift the axle to put load on the suspension when you torque the LCA bolts down.
You can only do one side at a time anyway.
Have fun those 11 yr old bolts will not give up without a fight
I know I just did my PHD Bar and LCA's

I always thought the same thing having lived in upsate NY for 23 years but when I moved to FL and bought my '98 TA and started working on it I was really suprised at how easily everything came apart. Reason 101 to live in FL or at least buy a southern car. on the flip side my paint job is shot from the florida sun :/ oh well, can't have it all.

They say you should, just put the jackstands under the axle and do one side at a time unless you have an adjustable bar.
If you have an adjustable bar you need to take the stock bar off and adjust the bar to the stock length then install it.
If its an on car adjustable bar lower the car to the ground and measure the wheel to fender gap on each side and adjust the bar as needed.
The brackets should be welded in,get the RLCA's in first then go to a chassis shop and get them done right, you have subframes to install so you can get them both done at once..

I know what that is for. I plan on getting TDs in the future so that is why I got it. My real question is do the relocation kits I have have to be done with the suspension under load? And if they don't will it mess it up if it is since I want to do most if not all of my install at the same time. Sorry for the maybe dumb questions but I just want to make sure I do it right and don't mess anything up. I just want to be 100% sure what things I have that require the suspension to be loaded and what don't. And if it will harm the install of those said pieces if they don't require the suspension to be loaded but it is because I am doing them all at once.

Are the relocation brackets for the PHD bar or the RLCA's?
If they are for the RLCA's follow my directions in the above post.

Suggestion on the PHB:
Adjust the new PHB to the factory length, do this by laying it on top of the factory PHB and lining the holes up. Once this is completed make sure the jack stands are under the frame of the car and not the rear end. Put the jack under the rear end and just apply light pressure on the rear end. Install the PHB in the passenger side first. The PHB is going to appear too short. This is because when you remove the factory PHB the rear has shifted. Have a friend push on the drivers side tire while you line the PHB up in the mount and get a bolt through it.
