Tips for adjusting handling & handling bias
I've been reading up on handling recently and I seem to be getting mixed information for various sources.
Wikipedia of course can't be taken as gospel but it does have quite a technical write up for anyone interested.
However it includes a chart of adjustments and thier effect, which I see being stated to the opposite in other writings.
I'm wondering if someone can difinitively chime in on weather Wiki has it right or backwards. (for example, it seems to state that In The Front > softer front shocks, a smaller sway bar, and lower tire pressure will help cure an understeer problem)

i agree with intrepidman except, for front tire air pressure.. higher is better 35> 42 LBS ,to help less understeer... rkvette

Let me start off by saying I know very little about handling.
But it seems to me if you have understeer you are pushing the front end. So LESS tire pressure would give you more grip and less push.

talk to our sponsor UMI... let them know what goals you have as far as handling and they'll tell you what to do and what to get to make it happen...

having won a-stock/ auto-crosses , in a 1967 corvette/conv.427 big block, was not easy... vette really plowed/understeer.. here are some tips that worked for me. larger rear bar went from 9/16 to 7/8 a lot heavier..lots of neg. camber in fronts like -2 deg.,0 toe, lots of pos.caster...rear some neg.camber 1/2 or so..shaved /bald/soft tires all around.. fronts about 40lbs rears about 35 lbs.. drive around in circles to warm them, just before doing the course...had the vette set up towards little oversteer, fastest way through the cones !!! rkvette
