patriot ls6 and a 224
I have been readding that this is the best set-up for a DD car. I was wondering where the best place the get them. Thanks
P.S. I wont be putting these on till later this is more for a wish list. Alsowould a LS^ Intake be good orshould I just go for the ported FAST 90/90 on there know since I plan to do the head cam?

Personally I'd go with PRC LS6 heads from Texas Speed. Should be about the same price, better results from what I've seen tho.

If you're doing H/C why not go for the intake too? Why not do the LS6? They are capable of supporting up to 500 hp. I got my 224/224 with 112 LSA from thunder racing. Good guys.
1998 Camaro Z28 1LE: TR Cam (plus normal cam install upgrades), Ceramic coated Pacesetter Headers, ORY, SLP Loudmouth (SOOOO Loud), B&M shifter, Lid, All free mods, Tubular Panhard, LS7 Clutch
1978 Firebird: Chevy 350, 4 bolt to many mods to list

i suggested that because i have a H/C car and back in Janurary I installed an Ls6 intake with the heads, and gained 36/24 respectively to these number (409/386 with my 224 .581 112lsa). this past friday, i installed a ported FAST 90/90 combo and gained an additional 35rwhp/10rwtq (now sitting at 444/395) over the Ls6 intake. why waste the money on an Ls6 intake...?
just get the FAST 90/90 and be done w/it the first time out...
click on the link in my sig and you will have a video write up of my car. here is my write up in regards to the FAST 90/90...

sorry I think I had my mind on something else when I wrote that. what I ment was is porting worth it?
and not really for this thread but how do you get the bottom bolt of the EGR hooked up to the header? do you have to go from the bottom?

i do not know about the EGR bolt, i removed both my AIR and EGR and then cut off the provisions from the headers and had them welded over and grinded down...
