sunset orange/ black- two 2001 ws6 m6
clutch question
01 ws6,exhaust,intake upgrades.the clutch slave is leaking in the car a little, high high pedal release point and chatters and slips a little but once it slips that little bit its fine.do i replace the slave cylinder/resevoir with a stock unit or adjustable unit.would my pedal be high because of the little leak.should i replace the clutch what should i do help ! oh ya i was told its a spec 3 clutch that hasnt been in the car for to long ?

You mean the master is leaking in the car?? The Master cylinder is the one that attaches to the back of the clutch pedal, the slave cylinder is the one in the transmission. If it is leaking, it needs to be replaced.

ya i thought that she needed a clutch when i test drove her.so now monster clutch stage 1 or ls7 or stock ? and tick master or stock.

What are you planning on doing with the car?? Its its a street driven car with bolt ons that only sees the track a couple times a year, the LS7 is the perfect choice. If you have more than just bolt ons, or you go to the track regularly, then go with a Monster clutch.
As for the master cylinder, I would just go with the stock GM one, they work just fine.

Are the Specs known for being weak clutches?
