You mean the master is leaking in the car?? The Master cylinder is the one that attaches to the back of the clutch pedal, the slave cylinder is the one in the transmission. If it is leaking, it needs to be replaced.

high high pedal release point and chatters and slips a little but once it slips that little bit its fine.do i replace the slave cylinder/resevoir with a stock unit or adjustable unit.would my pedal be high because of the little leak.should i replace the clutch what should i do help ! oh ya i was told its a spec 3 clutch that hasnt been in the car for to long ?
High release point means something is wrong, because hydraulic clutches are basically self adjusting. Clutch slip and chatter are definitely bad, but I'm not surprised to hear that if it is in fact a Spec 3 clutch. And yes, a badly worn clutch disc or defective hydraulics can cause the clutch pedal to engage at a higher point.

What are you planning on doing with the car?? Its its a street driven car with bolt ons that only sees the track a couple times a year, the LS7 is the perfect choice. If you have more than just bolt ons, or you go to the track regularly, then go with a Monster clutch.

As for the master cylinder, I would just go with the stock GM one, they work just fine.

I don't know about "weak", but they seem to have an unusually high defect rate. Just do a search for "Spec" and you'll see what I'm talking about.

+1 on that- if you're not crazy modded then the LS7 clutch is tried and true.
