2009 gmc
I too am a newbee to this site and was curious about what tuning tips you knowledgable guys have for the new trucks with the VVT 8/4 setup or whatever they call it. The truck performs ok, but I would like to have a little more throttle response. Any and all recomendations welcomed. Thanks

With custom tuning with a program such as hptuners, you can turn off active fuel management off. And with tuning, opening up the intake and exhaust can help as far as basic modifications go.

Yep, that would be it. I'm just sick of stepping down on the go pedal and it feeling like I'm stepping on a grape. too much lag time between throttle input and actual movement
