speedometer question + top speed question
is there any way to convert my 92 RS speedo to the 145 mph version and make it read right? And also remove the top speed limiter.

Prolly noone answered cuz its not an easy fix....replace the speedo...I don't know if you will need more mods to make it read accurately or not. You could just buy the necessary parts which are OEM for say...a 94 Z28....speedo unit, and sending unit/connections...or whatever is necessary..but that would be pretty expensive.
Sorry, that's the best I can tell you.

just put the speedo in and it's done. as far as removing top speed limiter, you have to have the chip reprogrammed.
Cold Air Intake, Muffler Delete, Vinci High Performance Dual Valve Springs, Hardened Pushrods, Yella Terra 1.85 Rockers, Some Hydropdipped Stuff, Strut Tower Brace, Some SS Badges, boost/vacuum gauge, fuel pressure gauge, some checkered stripes, drilled/slotted rotors, ZL1addons Stealth wickerbill, Ruxifey LED side markers

well, putting a carb on it won't do it. the limiter is based on the speedometer sensor output to the ECM. a $5.00 way to bypass it is to interupt the signal. bascially put a on/off switch inline of the wire going to the ECM. when you want to pass 110 mph, you just turn the switch off. the speedo quits working and you'll get a check engine light. you won't know how fast you are going, but, you won't be limited.
the limiter cuts fuel.
