Well its not the Winston because I liked the way they used to do it .. I also thought the LCQ or whatever they called it , was a better race than the actual big race .. if they had 2 more laps Sam would have won that one ..

i think it would have took him 6- 9 laps really but he was moving. i think he moved up 3 spots in 1 lap.

he was within a car lenth with 2 to go .. I think he backed off the last lap to make sure nothing happened and he went on to the Winston { for Bobby,,,lol}

As much restrictions that is on these motors I doubt there is an actual manufacturer for those parts. Everything is just run by a name.

I bet Toyota doesn't even produce the motor size thats in the Nascar. Liters or Cubic Inch.

Yes they all run the same car as far as the body, thats what makes it a stock car. But as far as the engine they all run a different manufacturer whether its Toyota. Dodge, Chevy, Ford. And this year the Toyota motors are putting out about 20 more horsepower (Nascar allowed them to because last year they were so far behind that they were never even competitive). But then this year Joe Gibbs moves to Toyota and they are flying! So yes there is a difference other then the sticker on the car.

Thats probably true but then again when did you last see Chevy sell a smallblock with the distributor in front?(besides an LT1)
Nascar mandates so many specs, dimensions and weights of parts that they are almost spec engines.
