no...the bar itself would not fit in the location....i couldnt even bolt it up. the fix is to space the sway bar and using shorter sway bar links....or something to that effect. but i havent had the need for it as of right now so i dunno if im even gonna attempt to put it
back on.

Awesome. Thats pretty much all I can say. I am tossing the ideas of either Supercharging or going for turbocharging and your car is tilting the scales pretty hard. Nice job, your hard work paid off man... keep the vids coming!

Thats awesome! I didn't even notice the lid was a fake, it looked like a bolt on motor. I was wondering why the thread was titled APS twinturbo and the car didn't look like a turbo, then I noticed it was hidden, very cleaver. Congratulations, very well built and very clean.
You've got yourself one hell of a sleeper. You could go to the races and trick people into thinking you've got a basic bolt on stock motor and then leave them behind right at the line.
Can't wait to see your dyno numbers. That engine is a monster, have you done any drivetrain and suspension work?FAST 90/90, SLP Lid, Kooks JetHot Coated LT's, American Racing Y-Pipe+Magnaflow Cats, DHM Electric Cutout, Flowmaster American Thunder Catback, HP Tuners Software, 343 rwhp.
BMR Convertible Subframe Connectors, Hotchkis Strut Tower Brace, BMR Driveshaft Safety Loop.

thank you. the rest of the drivetrain is still stock with the exception of the clutch. all will be replaced soon enough with a built t56 and 9".
suspension is completely done...its not set up for drag racing though...its just a cruiser. its lowered with BMR springs and Bilsteins all around. lower trailing arms, panhard rod, sway bars, Kmember etc have all been replaced.
after i do the rear and trans, im gonna put a set of wilwood brakes on it and that'll be the final thing i do to this one.

Really a GREAT JOB!!!!!!

well...new numbers are in and they're decent....im pretty happy with the results. it made 730rwhp/789rwtq on 9psi. not too bad for stock l92 heads and stock intake on pump gas. im sure it would make more if i were to get aftermarket heads but this is the route i wanted to take as a little experiment and its workin out well. im sure its got a ton left in it but with the history of the inlet ducts suckin shut i didnt want to go over 10psi untill i get them changed out. ill have somemore vids up eventually but now i need a new rear cause mine is whining like a school girl on prom nite. another few thousand out the door...just a drop in the bucket at this point...lol.

Way to go APS twin brother.! That is some great numbers for 9 psi and your combo give me hope that mine should make some decent numbers when dyno it next spring hopefully.
I imagine it feels like a pretty wicked beast at even 9psi. I am fairly impressed with mine even with no boost on the built 408 and haven't even gone past 50% throttle yet.
I should have bought my fuel system ahead of time but couldn't decide on which one. Aps is plug and play but lonnies has bigger lines and is less money. And has fuel filter. Aps deletes the fuel filter on their full meal system? Why would they do a stupid thing like that? And they want quite a bit more money. But there fuel system looks very stock which is an advantage.Wonder how much more hp 8 an and 6 return can give over the aps and the smaller think 6 an and maybe 4 return .
what fuel system do you have again tnt?
I am going dana 60 think with 3.54 gears. Then 4l80e swap with think yank py 3400e stall. That stuff will finish my build pretty much.
Should have maybe just disconnected the inlet ducts on the dyno and tried to see what it could do at 15psi or so. Bet that would hit the 800 rwhp range on auto and maybe 850 on m6. Thats what I am thinking. Shouldn't need 18psi on the 402 or 408 engines to hit that. Assuming a persons clutch or auto is holding the power.
My new eboost2 should arrive this week, my interceptor scan gauges and my other turbosmart supersonic kompact blow off.they are direct replacement for the plastic aps blow offs and should be way louder. They were pricey though! But I find the standard blow offs too quiet for my tastes and already recircing them. Home depot sells table leg protector just the perfect size for block offs!
I still think we can simply stent those intake tubes. I should pull one off over the winter and mess with it. But still have to figure out something with my dud turbo the one leaking coolant into my oil at a rapid rate but running oil only temporarily for another week. Figure its already fubar so not worried about hurting it and many mits guys run these 20gs with no water cooling. And other same type mits turbos . Still water cooling is better and want to get it fixed so can run it.
