Thanks Bottesini. I actually just got that same hood from a friend for 300 bucks. Its pewter now though. I have plans for when I graduate in May and get a job. Right now I'm a broke A@@ college student.

Good deal!! Paint the hood, and get ya some new headlights and you'll be set!! I hate how the Headlights get hazy. I just sold my stockers for $90.

Once that hood gets some paint on it. I think it will look great. Did you happen to notice if it was heavier then the stock hood ?

They were made by SLP and called the Ultra Z hood. However, they are now discontinued and the only ways I know of getting one are either used, or from someplace that still happens to have some in stock.

I have never had the stock one to compare it to. Mounted mine seems really heavy. Good to know that it is actually light, just feels heavy when on the car.

Thats wierd, my hood shocks seem to pick it up on their own when I go to open it. My guess is that they were all made of fiber glass right? I know mine is.

Just bringing this one back up top. Was able to compound some of the rock scratches out, and give her a good wash.





Of course right after I the car was immediately made dirty when I went to the track
