Negatory, you really only need a few adapter harnesses not a whole new one to do that swap. Frost aka steve at lsx tune sells them for cheap. The knock sensor and cam sensor positions have changed, and you'll also want to make sure the ls2 has the 24 tooth reluctor wheel otherwise it will not work with your pcm and you will have to buy another $200 dollar converter box from katech.
I was thinking about that swap before I decided on heads and cam on the cam on the stock bottom end.

Just waiting on the insurance to send the money now. LS6 is easiest what? I am probably just gonna buy a stock clutch too.

They are sending me 4021$ I can get a clutch for 300$ engine is 2000$ and labor is 700$. What else should I get or would I need? If the engine doesnt come with a starter you can add one of those too.

I need some mid length headers. And the original start is toast. Link for some ML headers?

I hear shorty headers aren't worth it.
-

Well as you know LT's arent allowed in CA so the next best thing is mid length.

ya I know, but I hear that the gains over the stock exhaust manifolds aren't worth the cash spent...

Any shortie or mid length header with a C.A.R.B. EO number. Look into SLP, MAC, Edlebrock, RK Sport/Arizona Speed and Marine, Pacesetter, JBA.
I googled that. Is that true?Last edited by Eric1987; 12-10-2008 at 04:48 PM.
