Lets put it this way, the 1 3/4" OBX junk I bought measured 1 1/2" ID, where the Kooks measured 1 3/4"...

I've got the kooks. Great quality, no issues after a few years of driving.

I have the SLP tuned LTs, cats, ypipe with Loudmouth 1
I love the setup, the only thing I dont like is the ground clearance.
but fit/quality is great. The LTs, cats, ypipe took 4 hours to install.
and these were the first headers I have ever installed.

Pacesetter's are junk? I have to totally disagree. They are good quality for the price - best bang for your buck no doubt in my mind.

And I own a pair of Kooks 1-7/8's, so there's no bias on my part.

American Racing Headers and Kooks are pratically the same product. Infact they look like they are both made out of parts from the same factory.

Nope, two completely different headers... Collector design alone could tell you that...

Cheaper option def Pcesetters, BUT if you have and don't mind spending a few extra $$$ go with the Kooks

Totally agree, this is the way to go. Although ARH is definitely a close 2nd to the Kooks in quality and performance gains.

The differnce between the 2 headers I seen (My ARHs and Rhinomans Kooks) was so slight that I felt terrible telling Rhinoman to go with Kooks cause he wanted the best headers for his GTO, Sad to he got amost the exact same thing but ripped off for $300-$400. The only thing he got that was better from them was a better recongized name.

The headers are so close that one brand has to be a rip off of the other.

Ok, I'll repeat... the ARH collector design is COMPLETELY different than the Kooks. They are not the same design @ all but are fairly close in quality. Performance I can't speak for, but I know the Kooks made a big diff on my 02 TA and the ARH's definitely helped my cuz's C5...

But rest assured, the design is completely different!

Just to chime in on this one here...how about some power/dyno comparisons between these two headers (the Kooks and ARH). I am aware they do infact have two completely different collector designs, but the question is are the Kooks that much better for the price difference. After all, it is significant.
