Black- 1976 280Z V8
No I haven't sold them yet, I was supposed to get them boxed up this last weekend and get a shipping quote to fast93ta Post #74, I had a problem locating a big enough box, I will try and get them boxed up tonight, even if I have to make a box.
fast93ta has first dibs on the seats though as he asked first and it is the fair thing to do, if he changes his mind because the shipping costs are too much for him then you have second choice, I will get a quote to your zip while I am at UPS.
Sound fair enough?
Thanks,
Greg

I finally got the seats boxed up and took them to Staples/UPS and got a shipping quote to Crowley, Tx 76036
UPS wants $64.04 for ground shipping.
If Fast93Ta doesn't want them their yours, LT1Beast is in line as well after you.
Hopefully one of you three will take them.
I could also take them to FedEx, they are usually $5-10 cheaper but are not that close to me and gas costs too much to be driving around and getting too many quotes. I will ship FedEx for you and refund you the difference if you buy them
Oh, seatbelts included, I didn't have the right size Torx bit to take them off.

I currently have the mounts and brackets boxed up but will open the box up and take pics for you tomorrow.
I kept the motor and trans and they are in my project car right now so I do not have the throttle body for sale right now. I am planning to upgrade to a larger one in the spring so when I do upgrade I will sell this one with the airfoil included.
Thanks,
Greg

Rear seats
Hi, I haven't heard back from fast93ta so if you are still interested in the rear seats let me know.
As far a the shipping quote goes FedEx is cheaper than UPS so when I ship it FedEx I will send you a copy of the receipt and refund you the difference between the UPS quote and the actual cost via PayPal.
Let me know.
Thanks,
Greg

Hi.
Unfortunately $30 is not the shipping price, I can tonight or tomorrow morning get you a A UPS shipping quote easily as they are close to home. If I have time I can drive further and get you a FedEx quote which is also usually cheaper. I have them packed into the smallest box I could fit them in but it is still a heavy box.
Doing a V6 to V8 conversion?
Thanks,
Greg

Not a conversion but I am installing a new 383 LE Stroker c/w all the goodies including LTCC system. <----no more opti woes!!!
So I am buying the Prothane motor mounts and they do not come with the metal brackets (you have to re-use old ones)
So this way I can prep/paint and install the bushings prior to the motor swap.

Wow I am jealous!
I'm just about finished with my project, I took the LT1/T56 out of the wrecked Trans Am and have put it into a 2400Lb 1976 Datsun 280Z I have lowered it and completely replaced and upgraded the differential, brakes, and suspension.
My plan is I am going to enjoy it for a summer but plan on doing some upgrades to the LT1 next winter. At least a cam, rollers, a throttle body, SVO injectors, and some headwork unless the right set of heads comes by fo r the right price.
Talk later,
Greg

I race with a car like that (only SBC in a 280z) and the car is a beast on a road race track.
This engine is dynoed at 422rwhp through a big stall and a 12 bolt so it is a proven long block. Plus it as almost new with less than 5k in miles and on third oil change!!!
Sell me the mounts and send them right away as I am making the border trip late next week so I am hoping to have all the parts waiting for me including a UMI road race K-member!!!

Hi,
I got the shipping quote from FedEx and it is $22.87 to ship to Sweet Grass MT. They said 4-5 days time via ground.
I can ship tonight until 9PM my time or I can drop it off in the morning.
The total cost would be the shipping plus the cost, $52.87.
I will send you a copy of the shipping receipt and the tracking number to your email address.
So I need your full name and address to ship to, and I need your email to send you the tracking number and a scan copy of the receipt.
My PayPal account is my email:
gregory.vincent@comcast.net
I would like to see some pics when your done.
Let me know, Send me an email
Thanks,
Greg

I read the pm (basically the same as the above post).
The shipping is too much as I will be paying over $50 for some metal brackets alone.
I guess the weight is what boosted the price up so much?
I did not find the Prothane poly's in stock anywhere yet so I/we can wait for my next trip to the border. Please try to find better/cheaper shipping for then.
Maybe I can look through your list and add some more things. Do you have fuel rails for a 94-97 LT1 Greg?

Hi,
I went to the Post office and the best they can do is $21.87 although while there I grabbed 2 of the biggest flat rate boxes. I doubt I can fit it all into one of these boxes but it will fit in two of them the flat rate is $8.95 per box so the cheapest shipping possible is almost $18.
Let me know what you want to do.
Thanks,
Greg
