It will be a cataclysmic event. We will learn alot from it, but it will probably kill of 80-90% of the earths population. There will be a massive explosion that will lift so much dirt and debri into the atmosphere and block out the sun, we will go through another ice age and hopefully we survive it.
What will we learn from this? This is way faster than the speed of light, we are going to learn how to jump in periods of time as long as that light still exsists. This will help us travel to new galaxies that would not be possible in our lifetime even if traveling at the speed of light. That is the kind of portal it will open. There is no such thing as other dimensions, it is just "time" folding over itself

Although you're correct about the dimensions and going back in time in theory has not been completely rulled out, there is no way this project will be creating enough energy to even come close to anything you mentioned.

i believe a microscopic black hole might be created for a brief second that could cause damage around the surrounding area, but nothing major like the end of the world which an astronimal black hole would cause.

it wouldn't be enough energy... there is a lot of flaws in worm holes... the energy it takes to open one could very well close the damned thing... i'll have to check in to that mag... i basically read books like "hyper space" by michio kaku and "a brief history in time" (hawking)...

Let's be honest most car mags are not that interesting (there are exceptions) but most are good for the pictures of the cars and women.
