Serious question here and this is not meant to be an insult. Did you go past the 8th grade? They teach how this stuff works in HIGH SCHOOL SCIENCE CLASSES.

Saying that a car pushed off a building will fall to the ground is an example of a Law of Gravity. A law SAYS WHAT WILL HAPPEN but it doesn't say why.

Explaining WHY the car will fall is what is covered under the Theory of Gravity. The theory is "why something happens".

Just because gravity is "proven" doesn't get rid of the Theory. In fact, if something is proven it needs to have a theory to explain it.

It's called Newton's theory of gravitation and general theory of relativity for a reason.

As for the theory of evolution....well at some point in time certain "creationism" type people believed that everything revolved around the earth, some one spent an obscene amount of money to prove that to be incorrect. These types of experiments expand our knowledge and provide proof to even the most closed minded of us.

The law of gravity is a proven fact; however, there are a lot of theories surrounding it, so people confuse it, big freaking deal.

It will be a cataclysmic event. We will learn alot from it, but it will probably kill of 80-90% of the earths population. There will be a massive explosion that will lift so much dirt and debri into the atmosphere and block out the sun, we will go through another ice age and hopefully we survive it.
What will we learn from this? This is way faster than the speed of light, we are going to learn how to jump in periods of time as long as that light still exsists. This will help us travel to new galaxies that would not be possible in our lifetime even if traveling at the speed of light. That is the kind of portal it will open. There is no such thing as other dimensions, it is just "time" folding over itself
