I bought my 99 Z28 with 152K and had to replace tranny mount and knock sensors. It still needs a passenger side window motor. Seems to be holding up okay.

I got mine with 93k at 99k the engine started knockin so instead of rebuild a 100k engine, i bought an ls6 for 3200 and installed it, it runs like a champ i have also had to replace the windshield wiper transmission and brake pads and rotors, but it doesnt bother me cause i love my car next im thinking of adding an airbox, a FAST intake, or forced induction.

I got a 98 Z28 M6 last month with 127k miles on it for 4900. Have not done anything to it yet, all stock and come to find out some one before me was spraying it! Runs freaking awesome. If anyone has a lifter tick run "sea foam" through it. My engine was ticking bad and after pulling the valve cover I could see where the new oil was cleaning the crud off the inside of the covers. The sea foam product dissolves anything in that motor that may be gunking it up.

PBM- 2004 GTO M6 PBM
Bought my 99 with 111K last may. here we are almost a year later only 116K on the clock and the only thing that required a major fix was it needed to be tuned since the speedo was off (last person bought a mail order tune that was crap). Frost did mine
other than usual maintenance and fixing my radio antenna no problems here very slight oil leak. Love it! Would only replace it if i could get a awesome 02 model (maybe in a few years).

black- 1999 Z28
I just bought a 99 Z28 with a 6 speed ttops and leather with 148K on the clock for $3500. There is quite a bit of movement in the shifter during hard acceleration, I figure its the tranny mount. Any suggestions on what else might need to be addressed?

2002 Z28 A4 NBM- Sadly now demodded :(
Holy old thread resurrection!
While I'm here I bought the 98 with 168,xxx on it 3 years ago. Only needed a new radiator. The one in it had a very small leak (couple of drops a day and I only noticed it when it was parked in the garage) but here in PHX you can't afford to have it leak at all. Monsoon also needed a door speaker.
Last year I had to replace the AC setup. It's my DD, it now has 182,xxx on it and it runs like a charm.67 Camaro: K-K + 797-z (look it up), 454/Th400/4.10 12-bolt = 6mpg, PS/PDB/PW tilt, tach, gauges...

2002 C5 - M6 - Blue- 2000 Z28 - A4 - Pewter
Bought my 2000 with 108k on it. 100k mile service was done at 90k by previous owner. I've HAD to replace the trans mount and torque arm mount. That's all that's been NEEDED, but have done other things here and there on my own. I keep it clean, and parked most of the time. It's my baby, not after performance on this one, trying to get it in showcar condition one step at a time
Bought 99 with 165k. Car sat for over a year, was parked a month or two after having a few coins dumped into the trans. I picked it up cheap, so I've been finding things here and there. Backglass molding at the top needs replaced, BCM fix, window motor, windshield, steering wheel, PS pump, idler pulley, oil change, fuel filter, plugs, wires, tires, bump stops, should I go on? Really though, I bought it, put tags and insurance on it, and just put gas in it for a month and almost 3k miles. Parked it, fixed most of those things as well as putting DRs and nitrous in. Seems to run good

Jetstream Blue Metallic- 2008 Z06 Corvette
Hey SS/RS you put your deposit down on a new Camaro Vert yet?
I don't come here very often anymore, but I thought I remember you really wanting a new Vert.
I just put an order in for a new CTS Coupe in Thunder Gary with a 6 speed manual. None of the dealers want to stock a manual, so I'm in the middle of my two month wait for the car, lots of people on the (www.cadillacconnects.com) site have ordered and are waiting for their Camaro verts.
