Bonds has one of the shortest, quickest swings in all of baseball. Why do you think he stands so close to the plate? His hands are extremely fast. Bottom line, the guy can flat out hit, steriods or not. I don't like the guy, but you gotta give credit where credit is due. Like the guy before you said, steriods DON'T help you hit the ball, just farther. Steriods are not going to turn a non-HR hitting guy into a HR hitting guy, period. Bonds has always hit homers throughout his career.

Guys I know in the minors and majors have told me a lot of players do use steriods. It is much more common than you think.

steriods most definetly played a huge roll in these douche bags hitting home runs. and are you kidding me? bonds is not on creatine...you dont get that stacked using creatine, i dont care how hard you work out. he is chiseled and has alot of mass, something that creatine usage cannot really give you because it adds so much weight because it retains water in your muscles. you have to do equal parts cardio when using creatine to look lean, thats a fact. the more cardio you do, the less mass you build. short story, he's juicing.

you dont see eckstein hitting the shit out of the ball every time or taguchi and i can almost guarantee they have "faster hands" than bonds does. its a power thing. he can barely tap the ball and it goes 400 ft because he has such explosive strength in his legs, chest and shoulders.

consider the fact that when hank aaron was hitting all those home runs the pitchers ruled the game. they doctored the ball and threw outrageous curves, and because guys like bob gibson were pitching no hitters and consistently embarassing batters they lowered the height of the mound. hank hit 715 hrs during all that shit. so fuck barrry bonds and his steriods, he's got it easy.
