I currently using R1 concept drilled slotted rotor that I bought from their site. I always had issues with the rotor warping even with hawk pads. I'm not sure it it hass to do with the drill slot stuff or its just a better quality rotor. I heard great things about their blank rotor too.
I have yet felt any wrapping and they have been installed for 10 months. I used hawk and now ebc red stuff. Both have been great. I just buy which ever is cheapest at the moment. The times I needed to brake hard the car had stopped on a dime.
I might try wagner thermo quiet one of these days.

Two friends are heading out to Summit tomorrow -- I am having them check for the Russell Performance lines as they are on sale for $120.66 right now.

It took just about a week for the brakes and rotors to show up. I have been working on the K-member swap, but last week managed to install the new rotors and pads on the rear of the car. I only hope they stop as good as they look.

Those rotors look really good. Did you paint the hats and vains or did it come that way?

I believe it is an electrostatic coating and yes, it was applied by the factory.

Swapped out the rear brake hoses a few days ago and installed the front rotors and pads yesterday. Very pleased with everything so far, and I haven't even touched the brake pedal yet.

silver- 2000 formula
nice setup......got some drilled and slotted rotors from summit and russell braided lines with ceramic pads........later switched out pads to hawk HPS ........holy moly what a difference the hawk pads were !!!!......drove a LT1 TA the other day and could not believe how crappy the brakes were compared to mine....my hawk pads do not dust as much as the ceramics did and my rotors are not cracking
