TRIPLE BLACK- 2000 CAMARO SS M6 #2100
Thanks for all the input guys. Ive been kicking around this idea for a lil while now and originally was dead set on getting a TBSS but I really wanted a truck more than an SUV so then I figured I glance at lightning’s just for the hell of it and the more I dig up on them the more I really want one. And they run a bit cheaper than TBSS’s and SRT8’s so that’s helping me decide too. There are a couple at the local Ford dealership down the street that Im gonna check out on this weekend. Ill let you guys know what I really think of them after having some hands on experience.

I guess the good thing is, you don't see snow down there in FL.

if you really shop around you can fine some fully built ones for 16-17k making 600-700rwhp 01-04 years, theres always that one person that has to sell the truck to buy a family car lol
any 2 wheel pickup is going to suck in the snow, has nothing to do with a lightning lol people have put those water bags that are made for the pickups to add weight to the rear
the gen2 lightning was made from 99-04 but in 01 they changed some things, 01 and up are the ones people go after more and cost a hair more, 03-04 are the best imo
depending how many miles your looking for, you can get a really nice one for 9kLast edited by Blackbird WS6; 05-18-2011 at 03:32 PM.

What makes the 03-04 the best? Just curious.

I'm sure a performance truck with 400-700 HP (depending on mods) sucks a lot more in the snow than a normal pick-up...
