as for what car to race, it really depends on the level. You don't buy a level 5 car to race in level 5. you buy it to race in lvl6-8. Best way to find a car is take the current ones your using. Race 10 matches and see what is owning most out there. That's a good way to find a car on whatever level you are on. Also need to consider some cars are better for 1/2 than 1/4 (hello black 599), so what your using may not be the best 1/4 contender.

Also, make sure you have the latest patch as they added new cars. I'm running lambo in 6, new pagani zonda in 8 and hennesy in 10 (bugatti ss is cheaper and better in 10).

You also need to make sure to tune whatever car your using. Maxing out all stats doesn't make it the best. My lambo just ran a new personal best of 8.701 and I only have engine tuning up to two (can help with lambo tune). Anymore more upgrades add points and it will change my cars level from 6 to 7 and then I'll have a whole new set of vehicles to contend with.

Oh... in addition to mods and tuning there is also shifting.

Each car seems to respond differently to shifts, so try out multiple methods (can vary by modifying tune also).

Some are best with perfect shifts, some like to short shift+nitrous. Some of the higher hp cars you will launch at redline and immediately shift to 2nd/3rd run that gear, shift to 4th and nitrous boost.

ive had the best luck with the lambo...but i just but the saleen supercar to mod ....hopefully it turns out well.

Oh this f'n game...

Got within 20 of max score on pro and it gave me timeout which was -75 points. Just in case u don't know that's the equivalent of 40 straight wins in a row. So pissed.

Tried again and got back to up some and just got a bad start and ended 3rd.-42. That's brutal when a win only nets you +2 or +21 wins for every loss to stay even. Gotta get this, so I can retire my car.

i hate the timed out crap i have a mustang for levl5 car that should have won a few of them and i get that and it makes me mad as hell

I found that shifting to 3rd with the 599 runs you the best time.

Thats worked on some but not all cars I have. Several of my cars never run through all gears, and others that I short shift (skip to 3 off tree) work better with that(zonda). I usually go from stock and adjust .5-1 in a direction and give 3 runs. Time gets better or worse and I adjust until I find the most balanced gear for whatever car.

thats what i have now but i have it in the level5 set now and its mid to hi end of that but in level 3 and 4 it was junk just keep running till you unlock the other levels
