fuck it found an ls6 for 600 brand new know i need a cam new heads new comp and a tt system fuck its going to take a while.

no thats just the block brand new. bore it, heads, cam and build it for low comp at about 8.15 and twin turbo i want a min of 650bhp

i would get a LQ9 or LQ4 and go from there. If your gunna go through the trouble of boreing and you have to buy a crank anyway, you might as well go big....

That you have a ton of money

probabaly good ol iron might be safer but there is a local w/ a c5 vette running 10's on his twin turbo sytem, and plenty of others running vortechs w/ one running 700hp.
Are you going to pick up some 317 heads those sell really cheap.
As for boring an aluminum block for boost I woudn't do it, stroking is as far as I would go.

i have a comment on what happened and i don't know all the facts, but to me if that rod went through the pan there would be a LOT more oil on the driveway(like 5 plus quarts). that looks to be about a half a quart?????? how much oil was in the car, because we all know that the ls1 uses oil

I was told the 4.10 is the cat's ass for a manual. I only drive automatics so I couldn't tell you. Mine is set up with a 3.70

all the oil came out once i move it the car if you notice it is still dripping but is in an angle so when i put it in the garage all of it drip out
