me "ah so you have the sport appearance package on your camaro...so do i." (in reference to man purchasing lebra for his car)

man "yeah it's go fog lights."

me "fog lights actually are not the sport appearance package."

man "it's a z28 and it has the fog lights...it has the appearance package."

me "so you have the 5 piece ground effects kit on the car from the factory?"

man getting annoyed "no it has the fog lights."

me "this item is for cars with the sport appearance package...that's the ground effects kit not the fog lights."

man "it has to have the package cause i've seen camaros without the fog lights."

me "right...those are the v6 cars or special optioned z28s."

man "well it has the fog lights appearance package."

me "well this item won't work for you then. it was made for the camaro that has the ground effects."

man "what are those?"

me "look outside at the black camaro...you see the canards on the front bumper and the lower side skirts? that's the sport appearance package. this item was made for that package. your car doesn't have the front canards and so this won't fit on your car."

man "oh...well then you better order the right one this time."

I love impalas, is it a 62-63? Very good engine, the 327 with the heads you are referring to. Thats 360 horses right?

It's a 66 4DR. The engine was only rated at 275-300 for that model according to mortec. The Vettes got the 375hp 327, probably a few other Chevy's but I'm not sure. Hopefully I'll have it built up to make that kind of power and more before I drop It back in.

Back on topic, when I had my 03' Grand Am a co-worker who drives a 02' mustang gt told me my "Firebird" was a POS, and then asked why I wasted money on a "Chevy" when I could have got my money's worth with a "Pontiac Trans Am". Later on we were in the smoking area,(parking lot), and my car was within range to where I know he seen the Grand Am emblem, he tried not say anything but was busted out by another co-worker.
