I actually found out from some Alaska forums that the vette belonged to a guy that did housing construction and that he sold it because of the lack of work in the housing market right now. I have the carfax and for it only being driven about 2k miles a year I figure he didn't rape it too much. I'm going to tell them to give me $13k (I'll settle for $12k) for my car or offer them $26.5k for the vette. If they don't accept then I'm out the door and still happy driving a WS6. I think thats the only way to even out the deal so we're both happy. What do you guys think?

Good luck. Look at it this way, if you don't get the vette, just mod the shit out of your car to rape one. Win, Win situation.

Man: The Mods you are fighting,
they are the biggest Men I have ever seen. I
wouldn't want to fight them!
Me: That is why no one will remember your name!

Keep ws6
your Black WS6 is very rare and not easily found, Corvettes get old fast and only the latest models are really recognized highly. if speed is your need get a bigger cam, stage 2 heads, new intake and better exhaust.

Definately the Z06 is more rare, but most people cant tell the difference between a Z and a base model. But really who cares. There are alot of rare cars (Shelby GLHS Omni, GMC Typhoon,Firebird Formula WS6, Lotus', etc. but it definately doesn't make them better to own.

the rarity of the car is not going to matter when you start modding the car and raking up miles.
rarity is only worth $$$$$ if you can find a buyer. let alone a buyer that will pay alot for a non numbers / non points car.
if you are a car enthusiasts buy a car to drive it and mod it anyway you want.
if you are a car collector buy it and park it. just keep wiping the dust off
btw congrats on your purchase...
cam/heads and a f1 or d1 procharger would be very nice addition

Any RWD muscle car up here is rare. I think I've only seen a total of 3 Z06s up here. Im sure there are more but they're most like garage cars.
