Red Tint Jewelcoat- 2008 Trailblazer SS
Are the DA's worth the extra price over the SA's?
I don't road race or AutoX.
Just want a more comfortable ride and still be able to hook on a cheater slick.

Machine Silver- 2004 C5Z06 Corvette
The general concenses is that the SA are a great shock for the street.
Many members on the F-body forums value Sam Strano's opinion greatly.
Here is a thread that partially helped in my decision about the SAs

So in short ... Not worth the X-tra ... IMO.

Yeah, I talked to Strano about the DA, he said they aren't worth the money.

triple-black- 2000 CamaroSS convertible
I have DAs on all 4 and would say NO to that question.
The SAs are more than enough, even to the spirited that autox.
The DAs allows for extra independent adjustability between rebound, compression.
Not worth the extra $, especially for your needs.
Heck, i'm not sure i'd get DAs on all 4 if i were to redo it all.Eugenio_SS
almost stock triple-black 2000 SS convertible with 17x11s on all 4 w/ 315s at the track or on the street with 18x10.5s on all 4 w/ 315s: (1), (2)
