I will respond to her. This will be the 2nd time she has done this though. I stop contacting her all together and then after some time goes by she contacts me.

The last time this happened I fucked up. I fell right into her. I acted super excited to hear from her and started contacting her again. I acted anxious. That was a huge mistake.

From what I've learned, women see this as an act of desperation. It's unattractive. I wasn't a challenge for her.

There is a deeper reason why she continues to want to stay in contact with me. My belief is she still has feelings for me deep down. She knows how great of a guy I am. Maybe she is contacting me again to test the waters. Maybe she is single and pulling out the black book again. Maybe she is on the frits with her current bf and is looking for a back-up.

Whatever the reason, I really don't give two shits. I am over her. Yes, I do still care for her deeply. She's probably the only girl I've ever loved. However, that doesn't mean I'm going to let her walk over me and run the show. I am, after all, a man.

As far as your situation, find a retort that annoys her. She wears the shoes in the house...do something to something she owns that will frustrate her. Yes I know, childish. It will work though

I agree Siggy. I don't know really. I don't want to play games, but as difficult as it is to be straight-forward with her with everything that has happened with us in the past, I know I can't do that right now. She is looking to see if I've changed...I know it. And if I start questioning her right off the bat, it's going to make her run.

I haven't seen this girl in almost a year now, so I have 0 expectations of seeing her at all at this point.

Maybe she just cares about me and wants to stay in contact as friends. I really have no clue. As much as I comment on knowing women to a tee, this woman has me baffled and is one that I just can't figure out.

Sending a text will not prove anything...that was our main avenue of communicating back when we dated.

I responded to her e-mail this morning...she wrote me back...I waited awhile and then responded. She responded and then I responded again. Never heard back from the last response, but then again I didn't say anything to keep the conversation engaged.

Really wish I could read this girl's mind...

I really don't believe she'll ever give me a second shot...which makes it tough to be myself even when engaging in conversation with her.

She always referred to me as a "goofball"...and she loved that. Always was upbeat and funny.

Somewhere along the way I lost that with her...and trying to find it again has deemed to be very challenging.

I don't use any of them anymore. Actually just went on there today for the first time in a long time to see what new faces were there and seen her online. I don't plan on using it anymore. It was fun, but a waste.
